The Búdy

Búdy are small houses used for the storage of vineyard tools and also for the processing and later consumption of wine.

A significant example of vernacular architecture is the largest conservation area of vineyard buildings in the Czech Republic. It consists of a group of 41 listed buildings. The symbol of a winery is present on the municipal seal, where a winery knife, spade, cluster of grapes and the year 1704 in the middle are shown. The most commonly grown sorts today are Müller-Thurgau, Burgundy Blue, Portugal Blue and Frankovka.
